Action Programme 2: Skills Fitter

The objective of this Call is to support the development and delivery of new lifelong learning courses, renewing and refreshing the skills of professionals and practitioners active in CCSI fields. The activities shall provide structured access to crucial entrepreneurial and cross-cutting competencies such as business and financial management, use of emerging technologies for improving their competitiveness, and ethical, sustainable and business models.

They are looking for courses that use ‘learn by doing’, action-based and challenge-based learning methodologies and that will facilitate collaborative working to develop skills, knowledge and ideas that can be applied to participants’ professional projects. The courses should cater to accommodate diverse learning needs and a range of professional backgrounds. EIT Culture & Creativity is aiming to support the creation of 5 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses in the following five critical areas:

  1. Digital – focusing on the use of digital tools.

  2. Data driven methods and practice – developing skills that enable CCSI professionals to understand the role of data in developing the sector.

  3. Business skills – boosting knowledge and skills in strategic planning, financial and project management, social entrepreneurship etc.

  4. Sustainable development and prosperity – focusing on skills that support the creation of strategies and practices for sustainable development.

  5. Design based thinking / Creative thinking – training cultural sector professionals – as well as those in other sectors – to unlock creativity to develop innovative ideas and solutions.

Key dates

  • 03 April 2023: Call Opening
  • 25 April 2023 (10 – 1pm CET): EIT Culture & Creativity Infoday
  • 31 May 2023 (4pm CET): Deadline for submitting Expression of Interest (EoI)
  • 10 July 2023: Completion of the evaluation of EoIs and Communication of results to all EoI applicants. The highest ranked proposals will be invited to submit a full proposal
  • 14 August 2023: Deadline for submitting a Full Proposal & Call Closing
  • Mid-September: Communication of results to all applicants
